Spreckley wins orthopaedic, cutting edge account

Spreckley has won a global PR brief to raise the profile of one of the world’s leading private orthopaedic specialists. The PR campaign will focus on his extensive expertise in the latest arthroscopic and minimally invasive treatments.

With a history of executing public and media communications programmes for healthcare organisations and clients, including the world-renowned HCA Hospital Group, Spreckley will target the national and international consumer media and healthcare trade press, as well as respected medical journals in the UK and in key territories outside of the UK.

Mr Simon Moyes, Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon, has appointed the Central London-based PR firm to drive a PR campaign, focusing on injuries and conditions of the knee, shoulder, foot, and ankle.

Mr Moyes said: “In my 15 years of practising private sports medicine, I have seen some significant advancements in the choice available to patients when it comes to treatments. There is a distinct need to talk openly and widely about the most advanced options for the minimally invasive procedures now available to potential patients.

“I chose to work with Spreckley because of its record working with private healthcare organisations and individuals. I was also recommended the agency by London Bridge Hospital, with whom I work closely,” Mr Moyes added.

Working only with private patients, Mr Moyes consults out of 31 Old Broad Street, a part of the London Bridge Hospital Group; and The Wellington Hospital in St John’s Wood, London, a part of the HCA Hospital Group.

Richard Merrin, Managing Director of Spreckley commented: “We are delighted to welcome Mr Moyes into the fold and are looking forward to applying our knowledge and expertise in private healthcare to raising awareness of his exceptional skills and expertise. The global brief ensures that we target both UK healthcare and consumer media as well as some key international regions, since many patients of Mr Moyes do fly into the country to seek this specialist treatment. Through an intensive on-going PR campaign, we will demonstrate the proficiency of his practice, and establish a profile of world class service, as well as drive awareness of the latest techniques in orthopaedic surgery.”
