Spreckley PR shares record growth announcement to mark four decades in the industry, and eyes further expansion to hit ambitious growth target of £2m revenueTechnology PR firm Spreckley celebrates its 40th anniversary this year, marking the occasion with a subtle brand refresh, a completely new company website and the announcement of record 21% year-on-year growth. This marks the third consecutive year of double digit fee growth for the agency. And the 40-year milestone coincides with another landmark in Spreckley’s history, with the agency set to cross the £2 million revenue threshold for the first time in the coming year.
Spreckley’s mission is to give an informed and creative voice to its clients, driving change to influence technology innovation, markets, peoples and lives. And the company’s vision is to be a leading independent PR consultancy for B2B and B2C organisations, recognised for its client first hands-on approach and unique, creative, integrated, content-driven PR campaigns that deliver, every time.
Richard Merrin, CEO of Spreckley PR commented: “I am beyond proud to announce that we are celebrating 40 years in the business this year, with a very subtle new brand refresh, a fantastic new website and an award-winning team that is passionately behind our ongoing vision and mission, both of which remain the same as ever.
“Personally, it’s hugely rewarding to reflect on how much we’ve grown since I first joined the agency back in 1996 and then, in 2010, “liked it so much that I bought the company”, to paraphrase Remington’s Victar Kiam. 40 years is a milestone that Spreckley’s staff and clients, both past and present, can be extremely proud to have contributed towards, and we hope to see many of them at our 40th birthday party this coming September! “Professionally, to steer and grow the agency to its current success, to a place where we can celebrate a record 21% year-on-year growth, is incredibly satisfying. And we’re now turning our attention to hitting our next target, sustaining recent growth to ensure that we are within sight of our objective of topping £2 million in annual revenue over the next 12 months.
“We have made a significant investment in our new website redesign and SEO this year, for the simple reason that over the last four years, since 2019, we have seen a steady increase in website leads. As of April 2023, 60% of all our leads were from our website, up from 53% last year, 48% in 2021, 33% in 2020 and 8% in 2019. This growth in valuable new business leads is nothing less than phenomenal.”
