M-Files, a global leader in the enterprise information management (EIM) and document management markets, has appointed Spreckley as its retained UK PR agency, as it looks to capitalise on the growing document management market within the region.

Earlier this year M-Files announced that it had opened a new UK office located in Reading, Berkshire, which will act as the hub for its UK operations. As information management becomes a strategic priority for more businesses, EIM solutions such as M-Files enable the elimination of content chaos and information silos while enabling fast and easy access to the right documents and other information from any core business system and device.

Spreckley’s focus for the PR campaign will be to position M-Files as an industry expert and thought leader among its vertical markets within the UK by engaging with new media and other influencers across its core sectors. In doing so, it will aim to gain visibility, raise awareness and ultimately grow the business further.

Julian Cook, Director of UK Business Development at M-Files states that the growing demand for EIM solutions here in the UK means it is the ideal time to start building its presence regionally. In order to support this, an effective communications plan needed to be in place.

He said:

The opening of the new office in Reading, along with increased investment in personnel and marketing, is part of our commitment to growing our presence in the UK. We want to help more companies drive growth, value and innovation by simplifying and improving the way they manage and process business information assets. In order to ensure this message is communicated effectively, we needed the support of a PR agency that understands our markets and will enable us to interact with the key influencers in it; that is why we have enlisted Spreckley.

Richard Merrin, Managing Director of Spreckley added: “The growing demand for EIM solutions in the UK represents an exciting opportunity for M-Files to build its reputation and brand among its targeted audiences. The EIM and document management markets are still dominated by legacy systems that simply don’t meet the demands of the user. As organisations seek more viable alternatives, M-Files will be ideally positioned to support this need.”
