Targeting the UK Comms Channel for TelcoSwitch

The Client


TelcoSwitch is a new player in the UK telecommunications market, targeting enterprises throughout a network of business partners. Founded by one of the best known names in the sector Russell Lux, the primary focus of the business is a services and product suite developed to resell through a partner program of like-minded businesses. With a target of on-boarding resellers at the rate of three a week, TelcoSwitch turned to Spreckley to ramp up its profile throughout the UK telecommunications channel.

The Goals

The UK comms sector has long been dominated by one high profile wholesaler so for TelcoSwitch the core objective was to differentiate itself, carving out a unique proposition aimed at appealing to those resellers in the UK looking for another supplier in what was rapidly becoming a price driven, commodity based sales process.


The objectives therefore were:

  • To launch the business in the UK channel.
  • Position the company as a leading voice for the UK comms sector.
  • Demonstrate its forward thinking proposition in telecommunications.
  • Offer an alternative to the market leader in terms of product, proposition and its understanding of the needs of both the channel and the ultimate end users.


Targeted media launch

Media launch: targeted series of press releases announcing the launch of the business and its service portfolio and its reseller programme.

Key interviews

Series of interviews with key sector press including CRN, Comms Business and Comms Dealer.

eCast campaign

Email campaign run in conjunction with Comms Business aimed at UK telecoms resellers which ran for six months.


Personnel profiles

Programme of Profiles on the business and its key personnel.

Website content and social media platforms developed.

Major event presence

Secured major presence at Convergence Summit South including stand design.
